subtly, sexy

jenny greenstein

Trends are touch and go, and every so often one becomes a closet staple – i.e., the off-the-shoulder silhouette. But try a fresh iteration this season with the one-shoulder version instead. If you know me well, you know that from my perspective shoulder-baring is one of the sexiest ways to dress. Subtle, unexpected, and less overt sexy, there’s something beautiful about the curves of a woman’s shoulders and collarbones. And this version of sexy is one that most of us feel comfortable (and empowered!) wearing. With that said, scroll through below for a few seasonal ideas, and don’t forget to pop over to the YSS SHOP! page for more spring goodness.

YSS SHOP LAUNCH!

jenny greenstein

For as long as ever, I’ve dreamed of opening a boutique – a curation of the amazing items I come across, in one space to share with you. Well, it seems dreams are possible because I’m SUPER excited to announce today that I’m launching the Your Soul Style SHOP page! Through the powers of Reward Style (thank you!), I will be curating an assortment of my latest and greatest finds, with the Your Soul Style aesthetic in mind. As you shop this page, and click on items you like, an affiliate link will then bring you over to the retailer of origin and you can make make direct purchases from there. It’s that simple.

Over the last 4 years of building Your Soul Style, I’ve been asked about my personal style, and have offered clients, friends & family, and social followers guidance on theirs. Remember this dress you asked about on instagram? Well, it’s available right here! This YSS shop allows me to connect with even more of you, and I couldn’t be more psyched about it. A bit about the inspiration behind the ‘brand': the overarching direction will be for the classic, laid back, edgy, bohemian and urban sensibility. Silhouettes will be free spirited, forgiving, and most will work on different body types for the changing phases of your life. Prices will range from high to low, and I’ll be paying close attention to featuring as many socially responsible and sustainable brands as possible. The shop will be continuously updated based on trend, end-use, and seasonality, and I’ll be sending out alerts of daily arrivals or if I’m making edits for a specific item.

I’m really really excited about this venture (can you tell?), and hoping you are too. As always, I welcome any/all feedback. This space is for you more than anything else so if you’re looking for a specific item, or if you have questions about whether one in the shop will work for you, such as “what’s the best way to style this piece?”, “what bra should i wear with this dress?”, “is this a good color for me?”, or “does the fit work for bigger boobs?”, please don’t hesitate to shoot me a note @ jenny@yoursoulstyle.com. I’m beyond happy to give you the styling direction you may need before making a purchase.

SO, without further ado, head on over to the SHOP page, where I’ve kicked things off with beautiful transitional pieces for Spring/Summer. Lots of soft, easy dresses and jumpsuits. Let me know what you think. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Please enjoy this space as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. Discovering style from the inside out is, was and always will be what it’s all about, and I’ll do anything in my power to support you on that journey.

Besos xx

State Bags: Feature

Using our voice is critical because it is in our story-telling that we ignite empathy and relatability. If i could inspire even just one person to feel secure in their identity by sharing mine, and create a space to be acknowledged and heard, it has been worth it. I am confident that this is also how we teach and enlighten others who may not have walked the same path. This is how we can change perspectives. This is how we can eliminate the divide. It is the stories that need to be told. I’m super honored to be a part of the STATE Bags#whatdowetellthekids initiative, featuring proud members from the LGBTQ community, as we each from our individual perspectives shed light on the power and dangers of language. Please head over to the STATE Bags website to read and spread the word about this important movement towards combating injustice and discrimination. Believe me, someone needs it and is listening. #spreadthelove
