Mama’s, Clients & Friends,
Happy Monday! I wanted to invite each of you to a private shopping event in honor of upcoming Mother’s Day, that I’ll be co-hosting with Silver Continent, Hania by Anya Cole (+ more), with a mission to bring together brands that focus on sustainability, social responsiblity, empowering women, while remaining absolutely beautiful from the inside out. In these current times, there is nothing more powerful than joining forces, rising up and coming together in support of one another.
In addition to a day of shopping for either yourself or another woman in your life, a portion of proceeds from your purchases will be donated to Every Mother Counts, a non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother.
I’ll be offering on-hand styling advice, plus 15% off future bookings on any Your Soul Style service.
Take a peek at the invitation for details, and come by to say hi, shop these incredibly beautiful brands, and to support Every Mother Counts. Please RSVP directly to me at email@example.com.
We can’t wait to see you there!
xx ~ jenny
When Hey Mama approached me about contributing a personal essay on motherhood and same-sex parenting, I was eager to write my story but requested we put the offer on hold because I wasn’t ready to write it. I didn’t have the appropriate time to dedicate to something so personal. The conversation remained fresh in my mind though, and as life continued to settle down, I circled back with Hey Mama to see if they were still interested. Luckily they were and since Mother’s Day was coming up (first one for me!), we agreed it would be the perfect time. Nervous to put the proverbial pen to paper, the words poured out of me. I’ve written hundreds of blog posts, answered many interview questions, and contribute content to a bunch of different websites, but this essay, which is near and dear to my heart, is one that I’m super proud to share. This is my first time experiencing Mother’s Day as a mama myself, and I’m excited for it. We’ve created our own little family, and what could be better than spending the weekend with the two loves of my life. Lately I’ve been feeling extra grateful and while I naturally experience up’s and down’s, I remain thankful. There was a time where I found it hard to see the forest through the trees, but one of the things that motherhood has provided me with is a clear and positive perspective. And I bring those vibes to my personal styling work. The glass is always half full.
To honor the beauty of motherhood this year via Your Soul Style, I’m offering 15% off all services, if booked now through Sunday, 5/8. Whether it be for your own mama, godmother, a friend, aunt, grandmother or simply just gifting something to yourself (as you deserve!), there is no better time than now to start feeling empowered from the inside out. Head to my services page for a list of offerings.
Happy Mother’s Day to you and yours!
I’m honored to have been chosen as the first Mom featured in Tribe Alive’s, ‘All Mom’s Matter’ Mother’s Day interview series. It’s my first year celebrating as a mother, and I loved having the opportunity to open up and share some of my experience. In the feature I discuss how Dina and I finally aligned on starting a family (it didn’t start out that way), co-parenting together and what motherhood means to each of us (yup – even Dina makes a cameo in this interview). A special thank you to Sari Wynne Photography for capturing these beautiful images that I will cherish forever. Click on over to Tribe Alive if you’d like to check out the interview.
