How does the Your Soul Style method differ from working with other stylists?
With YSS, it’s all about understanding a person’s core sense of being or sense of self. Rather than being influenced by the outside world — trends, celebrities, etc. —  and then dressing someone, I start by going inside and then seeing how best to reflect it out.  

What do you mean by that exactly? 
We start with a 1.5 hour consultation/conversation, where I take a deep dive into your personal style. This coaching-therapeutic aspect must happen before we move on to the medium (aka clothes). Until we do the exploratory work, the styling won’t make sense. This helps me determine where to shop and what strategy to take. I don’t make any decisions about where to source merchandise until I get to know someone. The brands and the budget I choose will then reflect what I’ve learned and range from high to low, sustainable to fast-fashion. 

Who is your typical client? 
I work with all sorts of people — from just-pregnant and first-time Moms, to career women with five events a week or entrepreneurs with three kids and a partner who needs assistance themselves.

Where does it all take place? Will you be coming to my home? In a store? 
YSS services occur in varying locations depending upon your needs, goals and where you live. But generally, it goes like this:

• Consultation: Consultations are held either via zoom or in-person at your home for a complete Closet Cleanse. 
• Shopping: Shopping will either be done in-person or remotely. If shopping in person, I arrive at a specific store(s) ahead of time and preselect your items for you. You will arrive for the last 2-hours to do a fitting. Fittings can also take place in my studio depending upon your specific needs. For remote shopping, I will create a customized shoppable lookbook for you where you can make purchases directly from the comfort of your home. 
• Styling: Styling can be done at your home, in my studio or remotely.

Do I have to go through the whole onboarding process every time I book you? 
No. Once you’ve gone through a YSS cycle (completed Foundation, Expansion or Transformation package), you will be eligible for a la carte services, which are listed on the client perks page. That said, existing clients will be required to do an annual consultation/refresh. 

How do I pay you? 
To book a package/service, clients are required to pay in full either through the online payment system (credit card) or via Zelle. 

Do you work with clients outside the tristate area? 
Yes! My remote packages are ideal for clients who live outside the tristate area. For clients that live in the tristate area, you can either choose an in-person or remote package. I travel to the 5 boroughs, New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island, Westchester and (select) Hudson Valley areas. Currently, I don’t travel outside of these areas. 

How do purchases and returns work?**
Clients are responsible for making purchases and returns. Whether it be in-person or remote, clients will provide their credit card onsite or online and be responsible to make necessary returns. 

**For existing + long-term clients only** If I’m facilitating the remote or in-person shopping, clients will provide cc information that I keep on file**

If I am working with you remotely, how will I know what to purchase after receiving my customized lookbook? 
For clients who choose a remote styling package, there’s a 1:1 session built-in to review and strategize before making any purchases. Option 2 of the remote package also includes a fitting via Zoom once merchandise is received in-home. 

What if I don’t want to spend a ton of money on clothes? 
No problem. I work with clients with a range of budgets and therefore create shopping strategies that are individually targeted.

Can I bring my friend/husband/wife/mom/partner etc. to my styling/shopping session?
Unfortunately, shopping is reserved for clients only. The Your Soul Style method is all about personal style from the inside out and in my experience, clients have a clearer sense of authentic personal style when there is no outside influence. 

Do you have examples of your work? 
Yes! You can review a sampling of my work here. Keep in mind, each client has their own comfort level when it comes to privacy so I only “film” clients who give me permission and sign a waiver ahead of time. 

What if I only want to hire you for a special occasion? A la carte services, like wedding styling, bridal shower, special events, or a weekend getaway, are reserved for existing clients only and can be found under “client perks”. New clients will have to book an initial Style Coaching session and be onboarded before being able to book for one-off occasions.
